Frequently Asked Questions
What does a Night Replenishment Manager do?
The Night Replenishment Manager (NRM) coaches and leads the overnight freight team and ensures product flows through the store efficiently and effectively. NRMs make sure the store is customer ready and associates needs are met. The NRM role is only in 6- and 7-day overnight freight or 2TAN (2 trucks a night) stores.
What does a typical night look like?
The NRM looks at the incoming freight schedule and partners with the Night Operations Assistant Manager to assess the floor load and ensure there is adequate support in each area. NRMs then walk the store to check on each department’s progress and their associates.
Why should someone become an NRM?
The ability to learn about the store as a whole and all the products we carry makes the NRM positions a growth opportunity.
Is the NRM a salaried role?
The NRM is a salaried, non-exempt position, (this means a NRM is salaried and eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week) and is MIP eligible (10%). The Manager Incentive Program (MIP) is the Manager’s version of success sharing. MIP is calculated based on salary plus overtime worked and store performance.
